Goal

Our mission is to transform Kuppam into a benchmark for rural cleanliness and solid-liquid waste management across Andhra Pradesh. Through sustained behavior change, robust infrastructure development, and community accountability systems, we're creating a cleaner, healthier, and more dignified living environment for every resident. Swachh Kuppam isn't just a program—it's a movement toward sustainable sanitation practices that enhance public health and environmental quality.

Achievements

Enhancing Green Cover Through Tree Plantation

6,500 trees planted in public and community spaces as part of green initiatives

Installation of Inline Chlorination Systems

475 out of 674 inline chlorination systems have been installed to ensure safe drinking water at the source level across the constituency.

100% Completion – Toilets with Running Water

All 51 targeted toilets constructed with integrated running water connections, improving hygiene access in households and public spaces.

Sanitation Awareness Drives in All Mandals

Awareness sessions conducted across every mandal in Kuppam constituency, covering topics such as waste segregation, hygiene, and behavior change.

Net-Zero Waste Processing Sheds – Phase 1 Done

5 of 13 planned SWPC (Solid Waste Processing Centre) sheds constructed using sustainable, net-zero methods.

Clap Mitras (Green Ambassadors) Deployed

67 of 250 sanitation volunteers recruited and engaged in promoting cleanliness and solid waste management across habitations.
